Academies United is the international division of Primer Toque CF – founded by Canadian entrepreneur Ryan Henry alongside club co-founders Jordi Masnou and Valero Fraile. Built by people who’ve worked across different fútbol systems and understand the gap between familiar competition and real development.
The idea was simple: give players and teams direct access to a Spanish club environment where the speed, pressure, and expectations are genuinely different. Not a program built around visitors. A real club, as it actually operates.
Founded in Castellón in the 2011/12 season, Primer Toque CF was built around one idea – good players make good decisions. The club competes at the higher levels of the Spanish fútbol federation, inside one of the country’s most competitive professional ecosystems, with a formal partnership with Valencia CF.
In 2015, a ten-year-old Lamine Yamal won his first individual trophy at the club’s own tournament, playing for FC Barcelona’s youth academy. That’s the level of competition this club operates within.
